On this page I will try to record all the basic game information about the characters so that it doesn't clutter up or get in the way of the story.
The Game
When I started this legacy I had only The Sims 3 base game and the Ambitions expansion pack.
I added World Adventures when the second generation took over and then installed the Pets and Generations expansion packs as generation 3 was growing up.
Since generation 4 have grown up I have also added all the other expansion packs which should give me plenty of scope for new storylines. However, adding all these extras meant the save game was a bot too much for my PC to handle so I had to shake things up with the fourth generation to keep this story going ...
For the first generation, and a lot of the second I let my game determine how this story progressed but from midway through Generation 2 I started putting the story first and playing the game to match the requirements of my plot, which has meant a little bit of 'cheating' to get the relationships and photos (especially the photos!) I needed for the story. Mostly just going back to play a small part of the game over again but other than that I've not used any money cheats or mods that would affect how the Sims actually 'work' - so no male pregnancy mod for example - though with Seasons there is now an official risk of just that (and alien babies!)

The Slade Generations
Each member of the Slade blood-line will be detailed here as they enter the story, although photos won't normally appear until they are a 'Young Adult'. For details of their partners check out the full family tree on Family Echo.
